What Are Focus Shockwaves?
Shock waves are high-energy sound waves used in medicine since 1980 to treat various conditions, including Orthopedic and Urological dysfunctions. This treatment, known as Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT), involves generating shock waves outside the body using a therapy device, in this case the gold standard Focus T-TOP by Storz Medical.
